This company is located in the Port of Barcelona (Ecoimsa); it offers treatment for industrial and hydrocarbon waste from ships, utilising;-  centrifuges, reactors, filter presses, ultra filtration equipment, biological, thermal desorption, stabilisation, crushing and transfer station for the management of waste for recovery and disposal offsite.

Ecoimsa evaluates and treats acids and alkalis which are generated by local industry. Also, the company has a thermal and electric generation facility with a 4.3 mw/hr motor where biogas generated on site is consumed, we see this green technology becoming more commonplace in the waste industry of the future.
