Physico-Chemical Treatment for Hazardous Waste

In our facilities, different processes for the recovery and/or valuation of different types of waste are done, providing the most adequate solution to our clients’ needs.

For liquid waste, we have equipment such as; strippers, reactors, settlement and filter presses, which treat inorganic water based materials.

For organic compounds, we have; evaporator’s, membranes, electro-oxidation and biological reactors.

For solid wastes we posses two technologies, depending on the waste composition: for inorganic waste, such as metals, we can apply solidification, stabilization and fixation technologies, and for organic compounds, we use thermal desorption.

We apply the best existing technologies. Our objectives are the valuation, like the acid and alkalis case and the recovery of the oil by centrifuging or Thermal Desorption.

Cheshire Waste Management Centre

The facility comprises a transfer station and physicochemical treatment plant it is located in Ellesmere Port (Cheshire), UK, and has an annual treatment capacity of more than 250,000 Tonnes of hazardous waste.

The facilities (treatment plant and transfer station) comply with relevant regulations to the BAT (Best Available Techniques) standard, for assessment and storage of waste. We treat bulk and packaged waste on site or at Tradebe’s other facilities in the UK. Total waste Management, site assessments, waste segregation and pre-treatment are examples of some of the services offered at CWMC.

The treatment plant specialises in physicochemical processes such as: neutralisation of acid and alkalis, reduction of chromic acid and metals precipitation, sludge flocculation processes and filtration.
