Transfer Stations

Our Transfer Stations are designed for the storage, segregation and processing of the wastes we collect for treatment at our plants or suitable third party waste facilities. We offer turnkey services, from the paperwork, packing, supplying the right containers and labels to minimize client risk by use of our expertise.

Our transfer stations aim to help the producer with the convenience of our service  centres. Our personnel are trained to act quickly to deal with any potential for environmental impacts and all our facilities are licensed within appropriate  environmental regulator.

Dinington Waste Management Centre

This facility is located near to Sheffield in Yorkshire and is specially designed for recovery, recycling and reuse of organic wastes.

The processes operated include; - storage, mixing and blending with solvent recovery, flammable waste blending (for liquid, solid, sludge or paste wastes), hydrocarbons consolidation with energy recovery and recovery of oil by oil sludge centrifugation.

The thermal desorption facility will begin operations in July 2009, and will further expand the organic waste treatment services offered by Tradebe. These services are in line with “UK waste strategy” and BAT the “best available technique” requirement for the treatment and recovery of hazardous waste. This new technology completes the portfolio of more traditional organic technologies available at DRC (Dinnington Recycling Centre)
