The recovered and treated ferrous material turns into feedstock for the steel industry.

The recovered metals, such as aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel, etc, are separated, and recovered at foundries nationally or abroad as appropriate.

This Fragmentation plant located in Amorebieta (Vizcaya), offers metal assessment and separation from end of life vehicles, recovering 99.9% of the metal in the vehicle. The smelting of the metals, turns them to first quality feedstock, which makes this system the most effective and efficient metal recovery system for end of use vehicles.

Fragnor has facilities where decontamination of the vehicles takes place before the fragmentation process, allowing increased recovery and environmental benefit.
