Final Waste Disposal

Our facilities are specially designed and equipped to receive and treat any municipal and industrial waste, that cannot be recovered this is often the inert, non biodegradable non organic fractions of municipal waste.  

After the treatment where the material that is recoverable is removed, the residue is landfilled. 

TRADEBE’s final waste disposal system is undertaken in separate cells. This system ensures an optimal placement in the site, and minimizes the volume of waste, leachate and gas production and emission of odours.

Tradebe is a member of UTE Solsones, responsible of processing of controlled waste for Clariana de Cardener (Solsones).

This process for Clariana de Cardener, is important for the management of municipal waste of Catalunya, because it is the final stage in the recycling and process cycle of the waste.

Waste management model in Catalunya specialises on the treatment of waste before it gets to the landfill, and prioritises material evaluation, recovery and deriving energy from waste.

The new material has a life of 5 years. The explotion system is done through bullets, reason why a waste press ship is built as a first phase.

The waste (without organic material) is dumped on the discharge platform which is used for collection of leachate, subsequently the waste is charged to the receiving hopper where they are pressed and shrink, so once it has the shape of a bullet, it will be deposited in the tank.

Bullets are stacked up to 3 (bulltes) in height, each 3 floors are covered with a 30 cm layer of soil to ensure the stability of the ground. On this layer of soil, 3 bullet rows and extra soil, are placed until they cover the entire tank and subsequently it is sealed.
