Physio-chemical Treatment

Tradebe can process up to 750,000 tonnes of industrial liquid and sludge waste a year, between our major physio-chem treatment sites. The waste material is fully treated using neutralisation, metal precipitation, redox treatment and oil removal before blending and finally filter-pressing to achieve a balanced effluent suitable for discharge and a filter cake suitable for either recycling or disposal.

Waste types suitable:

  •    Inorganic and organic acid
  •    Alkali
  •    Oil/water mixtures and emulsions
  •    Pharmaceutical waste
  •    Heavy metal contaminated waste
  •    Spray booth and paint waste
  •    Interceptor waste
  •    Food processing waste

Bridgend Oil Process Site

Bridgend Waste Management Centre is Tradebe’s specialist oil and water processing facility, and is located just off junction 35 of M4 in Bridgend, South Wales.

The plant accepts both hazardous and non hazardous oil, oil/water and other oily and aqueous industrial wastes. Through physiochemical processes waste oil is recovered for further processing and the remaining contaminated waters are treated for sewer discharge.

The site is also permitted for septic tank and other tankered domestic effluent disposal.
