We have evolved from an idea into reality thanks to the efforts of the group and close collaboration with the University of Granada. We want to demonstrate that it is possible to combine sustainability, innovation, and social commitment in a single project.” Ramírez added: “This facility will not only reduce the environmental impact of panels at the end of their useful life, but will also contribute to local job creation and to positioning Andalusia as a technological hub in the circular economy.”
The Jerez del Marquesado plant is expected to begin operations in October of this year, generating local employment and consolidating itself as a European leader in solar panel recycling.
