TRADEBE CONTINUES TO EXPAND ITS OPERATIONS IN SPAIN WITH THE ACQUISITION OF CLINICAL NUTRITION.

Headquartered in Argentona, Barcelona, and with more than 40 years of history, Clinical Nutrition is a national market leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of enteral, sports and dietetic nutrition through its various subsidiaries.

The group has a wide portfolio of own-brand products such as Persan Farma and Nutrisport and provides services to an extensive portfolio of clients in the European market for which it develops and manufactures a wide range of formats, providing them with extensive R&D capacity and great value creation and ensuring the highest level of quality and food safety through its own innovation and development laboratories.

Tradebe is a leading global business group in the environmental and chemical sectors, serving various markets such as industrial and pharmaceutical, among others. Its mission is to benefit the environment and society through sustainable, quality solutions integrated into the circular economy. It currently employs around 2,700 people worldwide, including 200 employees at Clinical Nutrition, and operates more than 90 facilities in Europe (Spain, UK, France, Germany and Italy) and the United States.

Tradebe expects to close 2022 with annual revenues of around €750m from the activities of its current divisions (Environmental Services, Chemicals, Health & Nutrition and Terminals).

The acquisition of Clinical Nutrition represents Tradebe’s entry into the health and wellness sector. Together with the acquisition of Cosmos Aromática Internacional (completed last April), they are key pieces of the group’s strategic objective towards full integration of the fundamental pillars of the new sustainable economy (ESG), where Tradebe has been a pioneer in the provision of environmental services and solvent purification and now wants to be a pioneer in the health and food ingredients sectors.
