Tradebe Donates $25,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana to Support Teen Leadership Programs
Tradebe Environmental Services US is proud to announce its engagement in a Champion-level corporate partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana (BGCGNWI), contributing $25,000 to support the relaunch and expansion of teen leadership programming at the East Chicago Club. This funding will cover a part-time staff position, program development, training, and provide scholarships for local teens to participate in the 2025 Teen Summit.
This investment will bring to life a new chapter of the Club’s “Total Teen Takeover” initiative, helping over 50 East Chicago teens engage in small-group, peer-driven leadership and service learning. The program is designed to increase participation among middle and high school students while developing self-leadership, teamwork, and civic responsibility.
“We are thrilled to have Tradebe step forward as a founding partner in this critical initiative,” said Ashley Luptak, Director of Philanthropy at BGCGNWI. “Their generosity and vision will give our teens the guidance, tools, and space they need to lead both in the Club and out in the community. With this support, we can ensure that leadership development is not just a concept, but a core part of our teens’ experience every week.”

This partnership extends to Tradebe employees, who serve as mentors, advisors, and role models for BGCGNWI’s youth. These roles involve facilitating regularly scheduled leadership sessions and community service projects designed to help teens explore career paths, build communication skills, and foster volunteerism and civic engagement. A significant highlight of this partnership is the annual Teen Summit, a four-day career exploration series held in July, which features engaging surprises and concludes with a celebratory barbeque
“This partnership is a perfect reflection of what we value at Tradebe –– empowering people, building strong communities, and investing in the future,” said Jill Long, Vice President of People and Culture at Tradebe. “We’re proud to support Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission and to give our employees meaningful ways to connect and give back. With programming tailored for both middle school (Torch Club) and high school students (Keystone Club), this initiative marks a vital expansion of teen services at a time when positive youth development is more essential than ever.
