Tradebe acquires Florachem and expands its Life Sciences business Line into the US market

- Tradebe strengthens its Life Sciences Business Line with the acquisition of Florachem, a leading supplier of fractions, extracts, and natural-origin ingredients.
Barcelona, April 9, 2025. Tradebe Life Sciences expands its international presence with the acquisition of Florachem, a U.S.-based company headquartered in Florida and a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of concentrated fractions, extracts, and natural ingredients derived from citrus.
Florachem, a specialist in natural citrus ingredients, employs 40 people and closed its last fiscal year with a turnover of $42 million, with projections to reach $66 million by the end of 2025. Currently, the company supplies and refines raw materials and products in more than ten countries. “The acquisition of Florachem brings key strategic synergies for the growth and internationalization of our division and marks our entry into the United States”, has highlighted Oscar Creixell, Tradebe Life Sciences CEO.
This acquisition, along with that of Fabster (France) in 2024 and Cosmos in 2022, is part of Tradebe Life Sciences’ strategic plan to drive growth and international expansion into the flavours and fragrances (F&F) industry. With this move, the division establishes its first presence in the U.S. and strengthens its production capabilities.
